You can link directly to any film, film segment, or playlist in the Films on Demand database. However, you will NOT get the right results if you simply view a film and copy the URL from your browser's address bar. Instead, follow these steps:

  1. Go into the Films on Demand database and navigate to the film, film segment, or playlist that you want to link to.
  2. Scroll down below the video player and below the film description to the box labeled "Title URL".
  3. Copy the URL from that box and paste it wherever you want to use it. It will be STABLE and will work both ON-CAMPUS and OFF-CAMPUS.

A note about embedding: Film on Demand also offers "Embed Code", as well as links. However, this "Embed Code" will only work inside SHSU Blackboard; the films cannot be embedded into other public websites.
