You can link directly to any film, film segment, or playlist in the Films on Demand database. However, you will NOT get the right results if you simply view a film and copy the URL from your browser's address bar. Instead, follow these steps:
- Go into the Films on Demand database and navigate to the film, film segment, or playlist that you want to link to.
- Scroll down below the video player and below the film description to the box labeled Title URL.
- Copy the URL from that box and paste it wherever you want to use it. It will be STABLE and will work both ON-CAMPUS and OFF-CAMPUS.
A note about embedding: Film on Demand also offers Embed Code, as well as links. However, this Embed Code will only work inside SHSU Blackboard; the films cannot be embedded into other public websites.
