The SHSU Special Collections is home to rare books, manuscripts, and other special materials, including the Colonel John W. Thomason Collection, a Texana Collection, and a vast collection on the History of Criminal Justice. Special Collections is located in the wood-paneled Thomason Room on the library's 4th floor.
